Moved Whole Staff to the Main Branch
We moved our headquarters to the Tower Center in East Brunswick, New Jersey. The facility contains over 3,000 square feet of office space.
Today UFC is a leading United States specialty chemical company for food and beverages. We now also deal in specialty chemicals for cosmetic and personal care and pharmaceutical and nutritional products. Our industrial and high-technology applications are handled with full care by our service warehousing and distribution partners, who are known for providing top-notch service, in the Northeast, Midwest, Gulf Coast, and West Coast regions.
Piscataway Warehouse
We expanded our company’s warehouse and moved into a bigger warehouse. The facility contains massive space for office and warehousing. Our storage space is equipped with a six-layer steel racking system, which results in six times the initial 254,000-square-foot storage capacity.
Expanded Warehouse
With the increase in operations and lower storage capacity, we decided to move into a bigger warehouse. The facility had adequate space for office and warehousing. Our new storage space was equipped with a five-layer steel racking system, which was five times the size of our initial 32,500-square-feet storage capacity.
West Coast Warehouse
We established a West Coast facility outside of Los Angeles, California, consisting of 10,000 square feet of office space and 30,000 square feet of warehousing space. We also moved West Coast operations to the new facility.
Investment in Freight Solutions
We began acquiring and maintaining a fleet of trucks in order to make deliveries in the Northeast region on short notice.
Physical Facility Established
UFC moved into the former Continental Baking facility in East Brunswick, New Jersey. The facility contained over 20,000 square feet of office and laboratory space and 150,000 square feet of warehousing and storage space, with a steel racking system that increased our storage capacity by three times to 450,000 square feet.
Incorporation
United Foods was legally incorporated as a private for-profit corporation with offices in Massachusetts and New Jersey.
The owner of United Foods first started his business in New York City. Our main headquarters were located in the World Trade Center.
